Knauth & Visser LLC is a wine importing and distribution company specializing in quality and affordable South Africa wine. Each vineyard, and bottle is carefully selected into the portfolio by interviewing the vineyard and winemaker, as well as public marketing wine tastings.
Currently there are 14 vineyards in our portfolio, and growing by the minute. We bring you the hidden gems of South Africa, and we stand behind our bottles 110%. Overtime we have gained the trust of our customers in taste, value, and quality of our wines, as well as a one-on-one relationship with our clients.
The company is owned and opperated by Van Zyl and Mary Visser, both individuals have over 15 years of professional experience in the wine and hospitality industry together. Before launching their wine business, the couple worked on private mega yachts, this not only gave them experience and knowledge working in the 5 star industry, but it gave them a chance to see the world, and visit some of the the most renowned wine regions. Van Zyl was born and raised in the Western Cape of South Africa, Mary is from the small town of Mystic, Connecticut, together the couple brings a genuine love and passion of wine, culture, and heritage and wine enthusiasts everywhere.
